South Ridge was started in 2016 by a trio of families, along with another five of families joining them a few months later. Back then, these families imagined a different kind of church...where people could belong before they believe. A church where people cannot wait to bring their friends. A church where next steps are clear and simple. A church where people willingly invest their money to make that type of church happen. South Ridge hosted its first gathering in January 15, 2017 at Rocky Run Elementary School.

Then as 8 families grew to 34 families, these families believed in building a space this different kind of church for this community. With raising almost $350k in 3 three years, these 34 families secured land and received a construction loan to build our facility. After four years of start to finish, our grand opening was January 15, 2023...six years to the date of our launch.

Endear our community by ensuring people know we're here, are happy we're here, and are better off because we're here.

Inspire our audience by creating experiences that cause people to say: "I'm glad I came and can't wait to come back."

Equip our core by enlisting and training students and adults to give, lead, and invite.
