Church Fam and Friends,
As we continue to follow the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, South Ridge is moving gatherings online through at least April 12 (Easter), including Waumba Land, UpStreet, Transit, and our adult groups. This will allow adequate time for our team to provide a quality digital experience for you and your guests.
With the news that schools are out until at least to the start of next year, we're waiting information on how this impacts us as a church and as a camp. As soon as we hear something, we'll share it. As of now, we'll continue to offer online services!
On March 16, the White House and CDC released guidelines limiting gatherings to no more than 10 people for at least the next two weeks. As we follow guidelines from government and healthcare officials, who we believe God has uniquely placed over us at this time, we are creating resources to equip you to gather as a family at home. We are also working with Rocky Run Elementary School to understand how South Ridge can help fight COVID-19 in our community.
As more information comes available, we will share it here.
As we enter this new reality, we believe that prayer is not the only thing we can do, but it should be the first thing we do. We want to bring our concerns and fears surrounding this virus before God. Please pray for medical professionals, researchers, and governments as they search for answers and pass legislation. Let's also pray for our teachers, principals, and superintendents as they look to offer creative solutions to educate our kids.
Let's allow the words of Jesus to comfort us: "I am leaving you with a gift...peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid." (John 14:27)
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing you this Sunday at 10:30 am...ONLINE!
Love you guys,
